Titan, the Bold

album-art
00:00

Inspired by Gustav Holst’s famous Planets suite for orchestra, Titan, the Bold imagines the world of Titan, the huge planet-like moon orbiting Saturn. Larger than one of the eight planets (Mercury), Titan is the most Earth-like place in the solar system, boasting an atmosphere ~50% denser than Earth’s and liquid lakes (of methane and ethane) on its surface. With facts such as these, scientists consider Titan one of the more hospitable locations in the solar system for human and potentially alien life.

The composition itself explores the dense atmosphere of Titan and aims to capture the heroism of humanity plunging into the unknown and one day exploring the incredible world of Titan, the moon of Saturn.
