“Euphoric is the first work I composed in the new year and embodies the pure excitement I have for the next twelve months. Written for trombone quartet, the work challenges the technical limits of the instrument while also exploiting the beautiful sonorities of the group.
Euphoric was written for the Sonos Quartet to be performed at the Texas Tech Big Twelve Trombone Conference in January 2017. I’d like to give a special thanks to these fine musicians for playing the piece.” – Austin Ali
